Raipur / Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma reached Shri Narayana Hospital in the capital Raipur late at night to meet DRG jawan Ramchandra Yadav injured in an encounter with Naxalites. During this, the Deputy Chief Minister enquired about the condition of the injured jawan. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma also took information about the incident from the injured jawan. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma said that 28 Naxalite bodies have been recovered in the encounter, the search operation is still going on. Search will be done in the morning, possibly two-three more Naxalite bodies may be recovered. This is a bigger Naxal operation than the one that took place in Kanker till date. A large number of AK-47, SLR have been recovered, a lot of weapons have been recovered. The back of the Naxalites has been broken in that area, the entire company has been finished. I want to tell the Naxalites that everyone should return home. The Chhattisgarh government is coming forward with a good surrender policy, everyone should return to the mainstream. Bastar and its water, forests and land belong to the people of Bastar. He said that the IEDs lying in the way of Bastar’s development should be eliminated now.
